What will you do?

Overall Responsibility:
On-site & off-site quality verification and checking

Roles and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

On-site work

  • Inspect and approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and unacceptable materials.
  • Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicate required adjustments to production engineer.
  • Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work to production, and confirming re-work.

 

Off-site (at suppliers) work

  • Inspect and approve manufactured products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable manufactured parts at suppliers.
  • Inspects in-process manufactured products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicate required adjustments to suppliers and purchasing department.

On-site & off-site work

  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarize re-work and waste, and input data into quality database.
  • Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and calling for repairs if required.
  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum Requirements (for screening purposes)
  • Matric
  • 3+ years working experience.
  • Driver’s license

 

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in quality roles.
  • Own transport
