Role and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Production Planning and Scheduling: Developing and implementing production plans to meet business and market demands.
  • Resource Management: Managing human and material resources to achieve production targets and maintain quality standards.
  • Supervision and Coordination: Coordinating and supervising staff activities, reviewing performance, and initiating corrective actions as needed.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensuring adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards and regulations within the plants.
  • Process Improvement: Assessing and improving operational systems, processes, and policies to support the organization’s mission.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
  • Reporting: Preparing and maintaining production reports and personnel records.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Overseeing the maintenance, repair, and replacement of plant equipment to reduce downtime and maximize productivity.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum tertiary qualification in a field such as Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Manufacturing or Supply Chain Management (Degree, BTech, Diploma).
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and deciphering cryptic emails threads.
  • Understanding of ERP systems and master data management for manufacturing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written).
  • Good organizational, time management and planning skills.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • 5-10 years’ experience preferable.
